I grew up in a small town on the shoreline of New England.  Photography has always been important to me and my family.  My mother and her mother were not professional photographers, but they always photographed family events and kept albums to document our lives.  I inherited my love of photography from them.  And more than anything they could give me or I could buy, I cherish the photographs they created.

At 18, I moved to New York City where I lived for many years.  I attended New York University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology.    I studied photography at the School of Visual Arts, the International Center of Photography, and Parsons School of Design.

I have lived and worked abroad in Bangkok, Thailand; London, England; and now I divide my time between Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and New York City.   My travels have taken me around the world to numerous countries in Europe,  Africa, Central America, and Asia including India.  My first language is English; I’m fluent in Spanish; I get by in French; and I dabble in Thai, Hindi, Bengali, and Mandarin.

I am a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
